Testimonials
Becoming a stopover city on the Tour de Romandie is fully in line with our political commitment to hosting major sporting events. This event has provided a superb showcase for our city thanks to the enthusiasm of the public and the very significant media coverage. Hosting a stage in the Tour de Romandie’s time trial was a very important logistical challenge to overcome. The result was in line with our investment and expectations, as the large crowd of spectators was delighted to cheer on these cyclists throughout the course.

What wonderful memories, despite considerable preparation work. A local organizing committee was proud of our success and of having brought our village to the public’s attention. Thanks to the organizers; the celebration was wonderful; we are still talking about it...

Hosting such an event is a magnificent vehicle for the tourism and sports promotion of the region. The popular enthusiasm surrounding the Tour de Romandie shows that cycling is very popular, whether in the city stages or along the roads. The numerous messages of congratulations received from all sides have largely compensated for the committee’s investments.
